Cassie Weller

I began the major part of my career at Pandoras in 2003. Highlights of my career have included winning Wella Trend Vision 2006 and taking the stage representing Australia in Milan! I felt empowered on that stage with over 3000 people watching, anticipating and taking inspiration from the world leaders. In 2007  I toured with Wella Australia interpreting  my inspiration for the 2007 trends.
On completion of  Master of Colour at Wella, I was offered a position with Wella as a featured guest artist.
I then moved to London to again further my career. Ongoing education is the key to everyone’s success.

My 2 and a bit years in London was not easy, but it was AMAZING! I could not pay for the knowledge and life experiences.
I worked in a leading Mayfair salon. We worked on UK celebrities and loads of beauty editors, only being 4 doors down from Conde Nast the company which publishes mags such as ELLE, Bazaar, Company etc etc. I was soon promoted to the Assistant Training Director and Art Team member. This let to opportunities such as London Fashion Week AW09, Project Catwalk 08, Roadshows  and Educating at LOreal London. The  Art Team was responsible for and constantly researched and developed new trends to teach to our 35 salons. I was a part of the education development which was so rewarding. I think it is so important to share your knowledge, why keep it to yourself?

I was fortunate enough to work for Christopher Burton at Halo and his team of Sasoon trained hairdressers adding  to my UK experience.
My visa was coming to an end so I pursued some freelance editorial work before I had to return to Australia. I managed to work on loads of shoots and shows building my portfolio and having work published in MagMag (Sweden), and Blackknave.com. A trip to Prague to assist Petra Mechurova at LOreal Congress was also an amazing experience. The language barrier was not so amazing.

When I am not shooting or educating I am in the salon focussing on my clients. My work reflects and is guided by the latest trends, and fashion/celebrity influences. I work with the clients face shape and skin and eye colour, this is so important!

I watch celebrities such as Alexa Chung, Kate Moss, Abbi Lee Kershaw, Jennifer Anniston, The Olsen Twins, Jessica Hart, Lara Bingle, and Miranda Kerr to name a few.

I like beautiful hair that compliments the clients features. I enjoy highlights that are seamless, blended, and I love natural movement. Hair has to be, Classy, seamless, natural, and look expensive!

My objective is to gain a personal profile with a unique identity.

I look forward to seeing you at Pandora’s while I am home in Australia
